Integrated Coastal Innovation
This challenge focuses on transforming the maritime ecosystem through a multi-dimensional approach. We are looking for Disaster Tech solutions like real-time cyclone alerts and IoT-based safety systems for GPS vessel tracking to protect lives at sea. To empower local economies, we encourage the development of FinTech platforms for transparent fish price discovery and Financial Inclusion tools that provide micro-loans and parametric insurance to coastal communities. Furthermore, we aim to bridge the digital divide using Conversational AI in vernacular languages like Kannada and Tamil. Beyond these tracks, we welcome Open Innovation in the broader Blue Economy — including aquaculture, marine biodiversity, and sustainable coastal tourism.
